Artificial Sweeteners: The bitter truth

artificial sweetenerNo matter how well companies market their products, if they are dangerous for human consumption, the news will come out sooner or later.

Natural News just posted this warning:

After more than 8,000 complaints on Nutrasweet side effects, a list of symptoms attributed to aspartame from complaints submitted to the FDA was made public. This list included among others: hallucinations, diarrhea, seizures, depression, migraine, fatigue and insomnia. Aspartame has also been linked to tumors, cancer and infertility.

Many people don’t realize that artificial sweeteners are harmful to their good health

Some companies have added minuscule amounts of vitamins and antioxidants to their sweeteners in the hope of getting more people to buy their products. The sad reality is that these products still contain toxins and substances that are detrimental to good health.

According to the Alliance for Natural Health absorbing chlorinated compounds into the body is detrimental to the glands, the intestines, certain organs, the immune system and the nervous system. Keep in mind that these compounds are found in hydrochloric acid, poisonous gas, insecticides, disinfectants and bleach.

Now I am guessing that you would not easily grab a glass of any of these substances in a hurry?

But sweeteners have added vitamins!

The companies have become desperate to keep their products on the market by adding a minuscule amount of vitamins to the products. Many consumers are fooled into believing that these products are, in fact, healthy. In truth, the amount of vitamins is so low, that they need not even be added in the first place.

It is important to understand that these vitamins are synthetic so your body will reject them anyway.

Watch out for unsubstantiated claims that these products support a healthy metabolism, as this is a blatant lie. The products interfere with the process of metabolizing food since they are synthetic. They affect the liver and the digestive system.
