hungry all the time
Many people who are trying to lose weight confuse hunger with thirst, and this is more problematic than you might realize. Apart from the fact that if people eat unnecessarily, they are going to put on weight.
More importantly they also run the risk of becoming dehydrated if they do not drink enough water
They might feel hungry when in truth, they are just plain thirsty.
When people eat when they are not really hungry, they run the risk of becoming obese and suffering the associated risks
Obese people tend to age faster than their thinner counterparts, and they develop all sorts of health risks.
- Heart disease
- lung problems
- undue strain on organs in the body are just some of the complications associated with obesity.
For the most part, people are obese because they eat too much food and do not burn enough calories.
Many of these people eat when, in fact, a glass of water will suffice
Some people confuse sodas, tea and coffee with water, and the problem is that these beverages simply cause people to eat more nutritionally devoid foods.
When people drink a lot of beverages other than water, they become dehydrated. They also trick their brains into thinking that they are hungry and eat food. The rationale is that because they have consumed a lot of tea, coffee and sodas, they cannot be thirsty. So they turn to food to satisfy what is actually thirst and not hunger. No matter what you put into your mouth, it contains calories(unless it is water), and the excess calories will be converted into fat.
When blood sugar levels drop, people experience hunger symptoms
Most often, these people will turn to a snack that is low in nutrition and high in empty calories. Due to hydrolysis, water provides more than enough energy for these people to get by on.
When hydrolysis occurs, water is split into its component atoms of oxygen and hydrogen, and this provides sufficient energy.
Coffee and soda drinks contain caffeine, and this is both a diuretic and addictive. So drinking these beverages causes people to dehydrate and become thirsty. Sadly, people then eat because they assume that they are not thirsty, given that they have consumed many cups of coffee and or sodas. If they drank water, they would not be thirsty, nor would they be tricked into feeling hungry.
By drinking enough water and taking in the right nutrition daily, people will be able to shed the extra pounds safely and effectively.
