children nutritionThe food that we feed our children is not of the same quality as before

Most parents feed their children too much junk food, yet they expect their kids to behave well and achieve good marks at school. If they don’t, we’re off to the doctors for an ADD/ADHD diagnosis and medication.

When told to change the child’s diet, we switch from one harmful breakfast cereal to another and instead of sugar, we add artificial sweeteners.  In trying to do good, we are adding slow poison into our children’s bodies.

Why a healthy diet is important for kids

Life has become much more competitive, and if you want your child to grow up and be a contributor in the adult world, then you should address his or her nutritional needs from a young age.  A healthy, balanced diet helps children to be more focused when they learn and more energized when they play and this gives them the best shot at a positive and productive experience.

Much has been documented about the fact that our food no longer contains all the nutrients that humans need daily. Modern farming practices have robbed the soil of minerals, and that means that your child is not getting all the nutrients that he or she needs in order to function properly from his or her diet alone.

Fast foods don’t provide kids with proper nutrition

On the subject of fast foods, while it is great to see childrens’ faces light up at the mention of their favorite take out venue, you are just feeding your child toxins by taking them to these places. The preservatives and all the other junk contained in fast foods serves no purpose.

The nice thing about change is that you can make it right away, and you will notice the benefits in a short space of time.

How do  you know that your child is getting the right nutrition?

The first step is to identify whether or not your child is lacking in good nutrition

There are some quick tell-tale signs that you can use to determine this.

Is your child the right weight for his or her age? If your child is overweight, then he or she could be in for a multitude of problems. One of the biggest concerns could be contracting diabetes. If your child is underweight, then this could be an indicator that he or she is under nourished.

Poor muscle development is another sure sign of poor nutrition. How does your child walk? Is the posture upright and straight? If not, this could indicate poor bone development. Next, you should check her skin If it is not clear, then something is amiss nutritionally.

Watch your child’s appetite, if there is a change in this, there could be a problem. Eating too much will lead to obesity and does indicate that your child is lacking in important vitamins and minerals. If your child eats too little, then he or she clearly will not get nearly enough minerals and vitamins. Other indicators of poor nutrition include dull eyes, lifeless hair, poor sleeping patterns and a miserable disposition.

Now that you have identified that there is a problem with your child’s nutritional needs, what do you do about it?

The first thing is to cut back on sweets and sodas as they have very little value for your child. Rather encourage your child to drink water and add Herbalife’s Aloe drink to this. The  Aloe Mango is awesome tasting and has great detoxing properties.

Replace ice-cream with yogurt, or try this deliciously simple and nutritious ice-cream recipe.

Many children refuse to eat beans and broccoli, so at least with Herbalife you are assured that your child is getting all that he or she needs daily.

Herbalife is 100% safe for children

Lizette, like millions of other expectant moms, took Herbalife throughout her entire pregnancy.

By simply adding this to your child’s diet, you will notice a visible change in your child’s health, attitude and achievements. After a period of time, your child will stop craving junk food, sweets and sodas. This is because his or her body is receiving the right nutrition.

It is far more cost-effective to give your child healthy nutrition than to feed him or her junk food, sweets and sodas and spend a fortune on medication and remedial tools and equipment. Make the change today. You owe it to your children to give them the best in life.
